This database was created and maintained by the Department of Life Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Assam, India. This information resource contains knowledge on traditionally used medicinal plants of upper Brahmaputra valley, Assam and is a result of long-term collaboration between indigenous communities, scientists and many NGO’s of this region whose contribution is gratefully acknowledged. The Database highlights some important medicinal plants and their active components which can be used for the development of new drugs of herbal origin.
